MARRIOTT BONVOY HAWAI’I: MARKET POSITIONING
Inspired by efforts from the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority to promote and protect the land and culture of Hawai‘i, we were asked to develop a position and overarching message for the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio of hotels in Hawai‘i to highlight the depth and breadth of culturally rich, meaningful experiences to discover on the islands.

We created a narrative that positioned Marriott Bonvoy as the provider of dream-worthy Hawai‘i moments imbued with a deeper significance.
As part of the destination positioning, we defined three pillars to be used to guide key messages in sales collateral, social media content, website copy, or any other marketing channels.

This overarching message was incorporated into shared Marriott Bonvoy marketing channels including a landing page and digital ads. We also created a toolkit for individual hotels that included key messages, example copy, and activation ideas to reinforce the positioning themes on-property.
